Rachel's Challenge

The Coalition, in collaboration with Waterford School District staff and parent representatives from each middle and high school, together created a district-wide conference for all 7th-12th graders on kindness, compassion, acceptance and communication. The conference took place in November, 2007, and reached almost 5500 students.

The program is called RACHEL'S CHALLENGE and was developed by the family and friends of Rachel Scott, the first student who was tragically killed at Columbine High School.

You can visit rachelschallenge.com for more information on this program and find out why we were so excited to bring this tremendous opportunity to our Waterford youth. See what others are saying about the positive effect this has had on their students and schools.
